The compromise at web hosting firm E-dreamz, reported here earlier today, didn’t affect only Presbyterian Anesthesia Associates. According to Torie Wells, approximately 2,000 patients of Piedmont Healthcare were also affected:
We were told that E-dreamz databases had been compromised and that credit card data of a number of our patients had been exposed,” said Gregory Guin, chief financial officer for Piedmont HealthCare.
Piedmont said that could include names, addresses, phone numbers, email address and credit card number, but not medical information. Piedmont said the breach did not impact its computer systems.

He says the company also just found out job applicant information, including Social Security numbers, may have been compromised and that Piedmont is investigating.

So how many other entities were affected by this breach? A list of E-Dreamz’s clients is posted on their site, but neither PAA nor PH are listed there.
