A Jacksonville man said he’s in a fax fix because for months he’s been receiving faxes from doctors containing patients’ personal information.
Michael Wilson receives his faxes through his e-mail and every day he said when he logs to his account he gets at least one fax meant for Liberty Medical, a company that help patients get free diabetes testing supplies.

Wilson said in the past three months he has received more than 75 faxes from doctors meant for Liberty Medical.

In a written statement, Liberty Medical said, “We have tried to reasonably resolve the situation … Mr. Wilson has rebuffed all of our offers, stating that he will only accept payment of $25,000. He also refused to send us the wayward faxes he receives.”
