A 79-year-old woman was the victim of credit card and check theft by two hospital employees in separate incidents during her stay in a Scottsdale hospital, police said.
The victim was receiving treatment for a heart condition at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea in December 2008 when the two employees allegedly stole credit cards and checks from her purse, Scottsdale police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark said.
Police do not believe the two women worked together or knew what the other was doing, Clark said.
