CTV.ca reports:
More than 200 customers of an upscale spa in the Yorkville area have had their credit and debit card information stolen, Toronto police said Tuesday. Four people are facing hundreds of charges in connection with the case.
Police say the information was used to finance a lavish lifestyle that includes homes in Yorkville’s tony neighbourhood, about $100,000 worth of designer clothes and a business on Danforth Avenue.
Investigators say a group of suspects tampered with a PIN-pad device at the unidentified spa, which is located in the Bay and Bloor Streets area.
