In maintaining my blogs, I have tried to balance the privacy of individuals with the importance of their stories. Thus, over on Chronicles, I ranted about the invasion of Britney Spear‘s privacy while trying to avoid contributing to it, and on this blog, I have reported on UCLA employees snooping on celebrities’ files without going into any detail as to the content of those files.
Today, the Los Angeles Times published an interview with Farrah Fawcett that they conducted in August. The interview covers her health problems and her experiences with UCLA employees and the National Enquirer invading her privacy. A documentary on her battle with cancer, including the privacy issues, is set to air this Friday evening on NBC.
