Transportation Security Administration workers scrutinize each driver’s license to make sure that no one boards an airplane without proof of their identity, usually presented in the form of a driver’s license.
TSA personnel scrutinize each license to ensure that people boarding planes are not potential terrorists, but 10 Investigates has turned up a possible flaw in security.
As 10 Investigates’ Paul Aker first reported in April, some Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle branch office workers were dumping sensitive drivers’ license information in Dumpsters located outside their offices.
We found partially shredded driver’s license containing Social Security numbers, license numbers, addresses and dates of birth.
