In the justice system:

  • Stephen Bradford pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft and faces a mandatory sentence of two years in federal prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and restitution to ID theft victims. More.
  • Three British Columbia residents and two Winnipeg women are accused in a credit card scam involving stolen and forged credit cards of 25-30 victims: Anthony White, Kaitlin Sadie Caissie, Jerry Allan Byron Grimson, and the two as yet unnamed Winnipeg women. More.
  • Jermaine McClure, who authorities say has been involved in one of central Mississippi’s largest identity-theft rings, pleaded guilty. And yes, they uncovered the id theft during a traffic stop. More.
