A police investigation is under way to find out how files containing details of more than 60 people who applied for jobs with the [Police Service of Northern Ireland] ended up in a skip.
The documents were discovered by a contractor in Ann Street in Belfast this week and were handed over to DUP Upper Bann MP David Simpson.
Mr Simpson has demanded a meeting with Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde to discuss the security breach.
The paperwork from 2002/2003 included the home addresses of the applicants.

Reed recruitment agency had an office in Ann Street until December 2008 and it is understood the documents may have been thrown out during refurbishment of the building.
