The sleuths of Cyber Crime Cell of Hyderabad Police today claimed to have busted a credit card fraud involving clandestine leakage of client’s confidential data with the arrest of four persons belonging to Andhra Pradesh.
The police seized cloned credit cards of various banks, (local and international pertaining to Indians cards), skimmer (a device used for reading and writing credit card data), card printer (device used to create fake credit cards), one computer system, one laptop, several fabricated identity proofs, photographs, a release said here today.
The seized equipments were used in fabricating credit cards, the release said.
The accused were identified as Ch Vinay Krishna, Uppala Rao, Maheshwaram Sekhar Chary and Shaik Khaleel Babu.
On a complaint lodged by management of ICICI bank, regional office here, the sleuths of Central Crime Station (CCS) took the probe and yesterday arrested the persons involved in the fraud.
