Mike Bowersock of NBC4i reports that although a burglary at NCO Financial Systems, a collection agency in Dublin Ohio, was reported to the police, what was not reported was that client data, including Social Security numbers, was stolen. The allegation comes from two employees who reportedly told the news reporter that they do not want to be identified out of fear that they will be fired, but that NCO was not notifying clients that their sensitive information had been stolen.
Those are pretty serious allegations. If NCO Financial Systems issues a statement that this site finds, I will post it, or if any reader sees one, please submit it.
