Sustainable Resources Minister Ted Morton told CBC News on Wednesday he felt really “stupid” after his brief case, containing confidential government documents, was stolen from a friend’s car and found in a downtown apartment building.
Morton, who sits on the province’s treasury board committee, was having dinner with a friend in downtown Edmonton.
He had left the briefcase in the friend’s car, and it was stolen. The bag contained documents, e-mails and a USB computer stick, and Morton explained he planned to work from home.
