A Belleville woman was sentenced Friday to more than four years in federal prison for fraud.
Jennifer Lynn Schoenbeck, 31, was convicted of three counts wire fraud, four counts mail fraud and one count aggravated identity theft, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She pleaded guilty to the charges on June 1.
Her sentence is for four years and six months in prison, and she will have to serve three years’ supervised release. She will have to pay $13,176.99 in restitution and an $800 special assessment fee.
As a restaurant manager at an unnamed business, Schoenbeck took personal information of at least 11 job applicants or employees and opened bank accounts by completing applications on the Internet.
