(follow-up) Gallatin Gateway woman gets nearly three years federal prison for fraud and identity theft

A Gallatin Gateway woman was sentenced in federal court Friday to 33 months in prison and three years probation after pleading guilty to credit card fraud and aggravated identity theft earlier this year.

U.S. District Judge Donald Malloy also ordered Erin Lee Stewart, 50, to pay $7,185 in restitution to her victims.

According to statements from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Stewart stole the identities of at least five people who worked for her at a restaurant at Big Sky Resort, where she was manager in 2007 and 2008.
