Brad Smith was a little surprised to discover …. a few dozen blue and green plastic medical cards containing various pieces of personal information, such as a name, telephone number, address and date of birth.
The cards were strewn all over the street and on the side of adjacent properties, prompting Smith to call police to let them know about the discovery.
Crown Shred and Recycling Inc. destroys hundreds of the plastic health cards for health regions every month, said company president Jack Shaw.

Two of the medical cards belonged to the Sunrise Health Region in east central Saskatchewan.
