Mesa police arrested a former bank employee who they said used a stolen identity and her own address to apply for credit cards, court records state.
An investigation into a reported credit card theft led officers to Esther J. Hulse, a former Arizona Federal Credit Union employee from Phoenix, Wednesday morning, court records state.

Hulse was fired for unlawfully completing credit checks on four different bank members and applying for credit with the victim’s personal information, records state.
The bank provided police with Hulse’s handwritten confession to the crimes, but she denied applying for the credit when officers arrested her.
Hulse was arrested on identity theft charges.
