Laptop thefts are also everywhere.
A laptop containing hundreds of patients’ names and medical details has been stolen from a city health centre.
The computer was taken from an office at the Mary Potter Centre in Hyson Green.
NHS bosses have now written to the 211 physiotherapy patients affected to apologise after the theft, in April.
CitiHealth NHS Nottingham chief operating officer Lyn Bacon promised a “full investigation” and, in a letter to patients, wrote: “The laptop was secured with username and password access, and there is a very low risk of your information being accessed.
