A Red Deer physician violated a provincial law after 10 large boxes of patient records were left behind during an office move, says a report released by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner on Wednesday.
Provincial investigator Brian Hamilton found that Dr. Anthony Ford contravened the Health Information Act by failing to conduct an inventory in July 2009, ensuring he had all files belonging to him and four other doctors of the former Highland Park Medical Centre.
