Nate Morabito reports:
Johnson City police are looking for the person who ransacked the Plymouth Road Department of Children’s Services building this weekend. According to the police report, officers believe a juvenile likely broke into the building to get the title to his car back. According to the report, that title was stripped from him after a recent arrest.
Although the title is the only thing believed to be missing, something even more valuable could have been at risk. DCS stores the personal information of its clients inside the building. According to the police report, the suspect had access to what officers described as “a lot” of confidential information.
Despite that access, DCS Deputy Regional Administrator Lucretia Sanders says the state agency does not believe the suspect made off with any confidential documents.
