Henry Ford Health System has notified some of its patients that their personal health information may have been breached after an employee’s laptop computer was stolen Sept. 24.
Information related to prostate services that patients received between 1997 and 2008, according to Henry Ford officials.

No Social Security numbers or health insurance identification numbers were stored on the laptop, nor could a user access a patient’s full medical record. However, information could include patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth and treatment information, according to the same statement.
Read more on Free Press. I don’t see any press release up on the health system’s site or at any of their hospital sites. If anyone has more information, please share, although I expect we’ll find out the numbers from HHS’s web site shortly.
