Doug Hempstead reports:
Two computers containing patient information were stolen from the Bruyere Family Medicine Centre.
The theft happened from the facility at 75 Bruyere St.
Investigation revealed there was “a high probability” that password-protected patient data for some patients seen between 1971 and July 1, 2006 may have been archived on these computers.
The information includes name, date of birth, address, health card number and phone number, but no medical data.
