PBS says its website has been hacked for the 2nd time in a month, with little data stolen (but there were lots of data stolen, it seems – Update 3)

Associated Press reports:

PBS says its website has been hacked for at least the second time in a month — the latest in a string of intrusions into such sites as Sony, Lockheed Martin, Nintendo and others.

PBS spokeswoman Anne Bentley says one section of a website in the Public Broadcasting Service’s collection of sites was defaced Friday. The affected website was for the program “Becoming American.” Bentley says a “very small number” of administrative user names and encrypted passwords were stolen.

Update: PBS hack data dump

Update 2:  Another data dump that looks like user data that includes names, addresses, and email addresses.  And there’s more. @Abhaxas plans to release a members’ database that also includes passwords and phone numbers.

Update 3: And now @UberLeaks piles on with a data dump of Wyoming PBS revealing mailing list members’ names, addresses, and email addresses.
