Here we go again.
A rash of reports of identity theft in Huntsville has prompted local authorities to call in the FBI and Secret Service to help track down the thieves.
Nearly 30 cases of identity theft have been reported in Walker County over the past few weeks — the worst in Huntsville’s history, Police Chief Kevin Lunsford said Tuesday.
Charlie Perkins, lieutenant with the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, agreed and said more cases are likely.
