Lumberton police say they are investigating allegations that the director of a battered women’s shelter stole the identities of six employees before she was fired Monday.
Christine Fuller was hired in July as executive director of the Southeastern Family Violence Center. Center board member Ken Windley said Fuller falsified her credentials to get the job. He said Fuller also is accused of misspending the center’s money.
