KVUE reports that after receiving complaints from guests about fraudulent charges on their credit or debit cards, hotel security at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel managed to catch an employee skimming hotel guests’ cards.
The hotel released the following statement Monday afternoon:
“InterContinental Stephen F. Austin holds the safety, comfort and well-being of all guests and employees as our top priority and concern. The hotel continues to cooperate fully with local authorities in their investigation on the alleged activity, and all further questions should be directed to the Austin Police Department.”
