Well over the past few weeks there has been heaps going on around Iran and America, two weeks ago Iran claimed to of hacked and landed an CIA owned spy plane (drone) and have since released video footage and America has admitted its theirs but still unsure how Iran got control of if they even did get control of it. Moving along a week or so and an American spy has been arrested in Iran for spying on the Iranian government for America, no surprise their really, besides the fact that between 2005-2007 he had been hired by DARPA for his services and the mission of DARPA was for strengthening the US Department of Defense’s Cyber Security capabilities. The young man only joined the amry in 2001 and by august 2001 he was picked out due to his background being Persian and his language skills already more so developed for multilingual spying to be trained in more Arabic languages and cyber security analysing. In early 2006 he was contacted by the CIA and after some medical and background tests/checks he was underway. The arrested spy AmirMirzaHekmati , has given a tv interview that gave all this insight to what he has been doing for the American government. In the interview Hekmati stated. “I studied the opinion of Iraqi officials regarding the US and the presence of US military in Iraq. Our goal was to pinpoint those Iraqi officials who were inclined toward the US and do something that in case of outbreak of any incident, they support US military. After sending our reports to US Army’s intelligence department, security and intelligence officials held secret meetings with Iraqi officials and tried to establish closer ties with those officials,” “One of the reasons for presence of US military in Iraq was to be present in the Middle East and to penetrate among Muslims and make them deviate from the right path,” Hekmati noted. “One of other goals of the US was to control the Middle East region, including Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Bahrain, and even Tunisia in order to prevent Islamic Republic of Iran from becoming a model for those countries,” he said. “I was recruited in DARPA from 2005-2007 After DARPA, I was recruited by Kuma Games Company, a computer games company which received money from CIA to design and make special films and computer games to change the public opinion’s mindset in the Middle East and distribute them among Middle East residents free of charge. The goal of Kuma Games was to convince the people of the world and Iraq that what the US does in Iraq and other countries is good and acceptable,” So really this is starting to look like a constant on going cyber war behind closed doors, which is also no surprise to us. lets just wait and see what the next event is that comes from the Iran vs America saga.
