Someone gained access to the district’s e-mail database and used it to send out about 3,200 emails to parents and some students. The e-mail contained a link to a survey about satisfaction with the district, but the district didn’t authorize sending it and they have no idea as yet who misused the database to send it. There’s no indication that student or parent information was accessed or acquired – just that the e-mail addresses were used. Read more on ABC.
