Funds Focus DDos Results in Possible Court Case Against Melbourne IT

Posted on January 17, 2012 by Lee J

Over Christmas a company that is local to cwn, funds focus suffered from massive ddos attacks which resulted in the attackers demanding money to stop the attacks, as a result of the constant ddos the hosting company Melbourne IT failed to mitigate the attacks and now the owner of Funds Focus is unhappy. Well, CWN has been there and had this, been banned and even had complete data center shut down as a result of attacks on the website, So really this is not an uncommon thing to do, in fact we see it pretty much every time a website goes down due to massive ddos attacks. The attacks that Funds Focus are said to be from Russians and linked to the ANZ attacks that recently happened, according to softpedia the Australian federal police are looking into the incident. Couple of articles on this. https://manly-daily.whereilive.com.au/ https://www.scmagazine.com.au/ https://news.softpedia.com/
