This morning’s “Oh FFS!” breach: details of 28 snipers were found in the trunk of a used car purchased last August. The documents included “the names of personnel from a number of regiments, including one currently operating in Afghanistan, as well as details of a snipers’ training course.”
And if that didn’t make it easy enough for the U.K.’s enemies, there was also an Army pass giving access to Ministry of Defence bases.

An Army source stressed only around five of six of those named were likely to have passed the difficult course to qualify as snipers, with the possibility of then being deployed on operations.
‘The information was unclassified so there is no immediate concern,’ he said. ‘However, it’s not the kind of thing we really want out and about. People will be reminded to take a little bit more care.’
