Kroll Background America was hacked sometime between June and September of this year. In late October, they determined that 548 California residents had their information acquired. That information included names, and in some instances their dates of birth, addresses, and social security numbers.
Those whose SSN was acquired are being offered free ID theft services from Kroll Advisory Services.
