NullCrew hints at major hack

Posted on April 19, 2014 by Dissent

International Civil Aviation Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations.  I’d never heard of them, and would guess many readers haven’t either, but they seem to have caught NullCrew’s attention. Yesterday, the hackers posted something on Pastebin that revealed a database name, with corresponding database user name (“root”) and the database password in plain text.

That paste, however, is not the big announcement @NullCrew has been hinting at as part of their #FuckTheSystem campaign. On April 14, they tweeted:

To the government, telecommunication companies and others: Please pre-order a container of weed before 4/20, you’ll need it. #NullCrew

— NullCrew (@NullCrew_FTS) April 14, 2014

NullCrew has previously been involved in attacks on Bell Canada, Comcast, and El Arabiya.

I guess we’ll find out more soon.
