Sharper Future is a private-sector mental health services provider in Los Angeles specializing in the assessment and treatment of forensic populations and others with behavioral and mental health issues. They have posted a breach notification (pdf) to their site, and a copy has been submitted to the California Attorney General’s Office as well.
The notification explains that on March 29, their office was burglarized, and equipment stolen in the burglary contained names, dates of birth, health and clinical histories, treatment records, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation
identification numbers, and in some cases, records containing Social Security numbers.
