Rick Charmoli reports:
A Wendy’s Restaurant in Big Rapids has been identified as the source of a data security breach that affected several debit and credit card holders in Mecosta County.
The incident is not likely related to fraudulent charges that showed up on the accounts of several people in the Cadillac area.
The Big Rapids Department of Public Safety released the information Friday afternoon and said customers who visited the restaurant prior to July 15 and paid using their credit or debit cards could be affected.
