U.S. Dept. of Energy to investigate ‘security event’ at Y-12 plant

The U.S. Department of Energy has notified the contractor at the Y-12 nuclear weapons plant in Oak Ridge that it plans to investigate a possible security breach and release of classified information.

There were no details of the breach immediately available, and a plant spokesman said he couldn’t comment on the situation.
