CHA officials said an investigation into how dozens of birth certificates, social security cards, credit reports and addresses were left by a dumpster is “closed.”
The self-proclaimed dumpster diver discovered the personal data written on discarded affordable housing applications in the trash last May. An ABC7 I-Team report led CHA officials to investigate.
Officials called the situation an unacceptable but isolated incident. They say the investigation was recently “closed” and appropriate action was taken.
