A teenage computer wiz who attacked the Metropolitan Police website has kept his freedom as a judge said he was used as a “stooge”.
Jordan Jones, 19, was vulnerable and “preyed upon” by people who take pleasure in hacking high-level computers, a court heard.
He since used his talents for good as a “poacher turned gamekeeper” helping organisations with their security systems, said his solicitor.
The teenager who once hacked the London force’s systems is now having his computer use monitored – by his gran.
