U.S. Military Hack Looms Over Obama Speech

Posted on January 12, 2015 by Dissent

Courthouse News reports:

For 40 minutes on Monday, hackers posted ISIS propaganda and purported military documents on U.S. Central Command’s Twitter and YouTube accounts, before both accounts were suspected (sic).

The banner over both social media pages bore a picture of a headscarf-masked militant next to the words “CyberCaliphate” and “i love you isis.”

In a statement on Pastebin, the hackers (#CyberCaliphate) write:

Pentagon networks hacked

AMERICAN SOLDIERS,
WE ARE COMING, WATCH YOUR BACK. ISIS. #CyberCaliphate

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the CyberCaliphate under the auspices of ISIS continues its CyberJihad. While the US and its satellites kill our brothers in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan we broke into your networks and personal devices and know everything about you.
You’ll see no mercy infidels. ISIS is already here, we are in your PCs, in each military base. With Allah’s permission we are in CENTCOM now.
We won’t stop! We know everything about you, your wives and children.
U.S. soldiers! We’re watching you!

Here’s a part of confidential data from your mobile devices:

In response, #Anonymous, who had previously indicated their intention of going after jihadists, responded:

Citizens of the World,
We are Anonymous.

In light of the recent cyber attacks led by members of ISIS, we have extended our declaration of war to include any and all supporters of the terror group including the CyberCaliphate splinter group who have recently been able to infiltrate one of the US Central Command servers and leaked sensitive information that may likely be used by countries of terrorist origin (North Korea).

Although we insist to maintain our distance from any support towards the actions of the United States government, we truly condemn any actions taken by those who associate themselves with ISIS and continue to wreak havoc across the Internet.

We are anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forgive.
Operation Ice ISIS, Phase II, engaged.

CyberCaliphate, expect us.
