ANNOUNCE: Change your bookmarks and RSS Feed

Posted on March 9, 2015 by Dissent

In 2008, I spun off PHIprivacy.net from PogoWasRight.org to start reporting on all the breaches and medical privacy issues of concern to me. The following year, I spun off DataBreaches.net from PogoWasRight.org to cover all non-healthcare sector breaches.

It’s time to re-merge. Three blogs are just too much to keep running. But don’t worry: you’ll still get all the content. It just won’t be here.

Effective today, all new breaches involving either HIPAA-covered entities, or health data held by non-HIPAA-covered organizations, will be reported on DataBreaches.net in the “Health Data” category.

All news articles and commentary on medical privacy or health data privacy issues that are not breach reports will be covered in the new Healthcare category on PogoWasRight.org.

In other words, I will no longer be updating this site.

Hope to see you all on my other blogs.

Cheers,

Dissent

No, You Can’t Buy a Post or an Interview

This site does not accept sponsored posts or link-back arrangements. Inquiries about either are ignored.

And despite what some trolls may try to claim: DataBreaches has never accepted even one dime to interview or report on anyone. Nor will DataBreaches ever pay anyone for data or to interview them.
