VOCM reports:
There’s word of another privacy breach involving provincial government mail-outs, this time involving big game licence applications. The provincial government says it is aware of at least 15 instances where people who had applied for big game licences received their own application, and the application intended for another individual. There have also been two reports of recipients receiving applications in unsealed envelopes.
Each application contains the person’s name and driver’s licence number, as well as login and password information for the Wildlife Information Management System.
