Another escort service-related site hacked with data dumped

Posted on July 18, 2015 by Dissent

@ElSurveillance, who has attacked a number of escort service-related sites such as the MeetMeInYourCity.com hack, has released another data dump tonight – this one for Captain 69™ Worldwide Escort Reviews. @ElSurveillance posted 2,653 usernames and passwords from the UK site, with a note pointing people to crackstation.net to crack the sha256 to plain-text passwords.

Well, at least the site tried to secure their passwords somewhat, which is better than what we’ve seen with other sites.

If you ever registered for the site, change your password for the site and any other site where you may have re-used that password.
