A former correctional officer at the Troy Police Department City Jail was sentenced to 32 months in prison for his involvement in a stolen identity tax refund fraud scheme.
Devon Tucker, 31, pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and one count of aggravated identity theft, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama released.

Tucker stole the personal identification information of approximately 150 individuals who were processed into the Troy City Jail between January 2014 and January 2015, according to court documents.
