BDNews24 reports the University of Dhaka‘s web site was still down more than one day after it had been taken over by hackers.
Police are yet to make any arrests in the case filed over the offence.
It was taken down by hackers going by the name of Cyber 71 on Thursday apparently for not being vocal about the VAT imposed on tuition fees at private universities.

As of the time of this posting, the site is still unavailable, with the home page reading, “Website under maintenance mode.”
