AP is reporting that Stephanie Pyle, 40, has been sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison for fraud and identity theft. She was also ordered to pay more than $2.4M in restitution.
Pyle was arraigned in February, 2015 after a grand jury returned a 12-count indictment charging her with six counts of access device fraud and six counts of aggravated identity theft. Pyle was the comptroller at an unnamed construction company from January 2010 to May 2014, during the time she defrauded the firm of more than $1.5M.
Pyle pleaded guilty in May to two of the 12 counts.
AP reports that Pyle received a 30-month prison term on the fraud conviction and a consecutive 24-month sentence for the aggravated ID theft conviction.
