The Prince Albert Daily Herald reports:
The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region has fired one employee after an investigation into a year-long privacy breach.
The employee was let go after an investigation by the region’s privacy officer. According to the privacy officer, the unnamed employee accessed personal health information from 22 different people over the past 12 months. The employee was not involved in their care.
