In: Records stolen from patwarkhana

(Note: a patwarkhana seems to be a property registration office)

Miscreants broke into the Jhuneer patwarkhana and tore records. They also broke open the room of patwari Ashok Kumar and stole documents late last night.

As per details, the records, which were stolen, also included an assessment register, which contained the compensation record of the farmers who had suffered loss of cotton crop in 2015. It also included a cheque for Rs 40,000 issued in the name of Ranjitgarh Bandra and a cheque book among other papers.
