Police and school board officials are investigating after a student hacked into a file containing private information — including names and addresses — of peers at South secondary school.
The breach occurred April 14, said Marion Moynihan, superintendent of student achievement, information technology services for Thames Valley District school board.
“A student created a program that, when run, allowed access to student information,” said Moynihan.

Now keep in mind that this is not the first time a student has hacked into the school district. In 2010, I reported on another hacking incident. That teen, who was charged criminally, said he had done it to show the district that their info “wasn’t as secure as they think.” So…. what has the district done since then that another student was able to hack them again?
