Cellular News reports:
T Mobile’s Czech subsidiary came close to suffering a massive data breach following actions by an employee of the company.
Local media reported that an employee attempted to sell the details of 1.5 million customers to fraudsters, but that the attempt was detected before the customer account details were handed over.
“Unfortunately, we have to confirm that client data were stolen and sold,” T-Mobile spokeswoman Martina Kemrova told the local newspaper, Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD).
