Jennifer van der Kleut reports:
Annapolis government officials are warning of a potential data breach of customer information at three local parking garages.
Annapolis Mayor Michael Pantelides issued a statement Tuesday indicating that a breach may have occurred at the Noah Hillman, Gotts Court and Knighton parking garages, affecting customers that used the garage over a period of six months.
Read more on Annapolis Patch. The breach may have occurred under the watch of the firm that was operating the garages’ servers back in December, when malware may have been installed. The current operator, SP+, detected suspicious activity on the servers. The former company was not named. Note that all this is still somewhat speculative and has yet to be confirmed.
