ID: Accounting firm Presnell Gage reports data security breach

The Lewiston Tribune reports:

The personal information of Presnell Gage Accounting and Consulting clients may have been accessed without authorization during a recent data security breach, according to a company news release.

A small percentage of clients had fraudulent tax returns filed without their authorization, according to a news release from the Lewiston-based company. Presnell Gage Managing Member Philip Nuxoll said the firm is still working to determine how many clients had their personal information compromised.
