A paramedic supervisor of a medical emergency service has been charged with multiple counts of wire fraud, identity theft, and theft of controlled substances.
Jason Laut, 39, was charged with six counts of wire fraud, two counts of identity theft, and 29 counts of making false statements.
During Laut’s employment at MedStar Ambulance altered and falsified documents including patient records to conceal the theft of Fentanyl and Morphine, between Jan. 2013 and May 2015, according to court documents.
