Personal information of about 3,400 customers may have been compromised in an internal theft of a Tulsa-based medical supplier database.
In a statement on its website, LKM Medical said two employees on Jan. 3 stole a company computer with customer information stored on it. The employees have been fired.
“This discovery is a shock to our company and we are working hard to recover the missing information and to protect our customers,” LKM owner Mary Gilbert said. “We apologize for any inconvenience and worry this incident causes our customers.”
